Our first stop is one of Colorado's prime scenic areas and top tourist attractions - the United States Air Force Academy, located on 18,000 acres of rolling pine-covered foothills. The visit includes a stop at the soaring 17-spire Cadet Chapel and the Barry Goldwater Visitors Center, a spacious facility housing a gift shop, restaurant and displays.

There is ample opportunity to take pictures as the tour heads for nearby Garden of the Gods. Stop at the Visitor Center and then continue on through terrain composed of huge slabs of red sandstone rising vertically hundreds of feet out of the ground. The Garden of the Gods is considered by the Ute Indians to be ancient mythical burial grounds for the Gods.

Next, take a ride to the clouds! Board the Pikes Peak Cog Railway for a trip you'll never forget. Known as the world's highest cog railway, it is nine miles long and climbs from a starting elevation of 6,571 to 14,110 feet at the summit of Pikes Peak. Enjoy a delicious boxed lunch as you ride along the railway.

Includes: Roundtrip deluxe motorcoach transportation, professional tour guide, beverages and snacks en route, stop at U.S. Air Force Academy, stop at Garden of the Gods, roundtrip ticket on Pike's Peak Cog Railway, box lunch and beverages.
